Blanquito

The Beau is back with a new look, goals and perspective.

I’ve been away for a while regrouping on what my next steps will be.  I’m freelancing now which gives me more opportunity to explore and choose what to take on. Learning that it’s ok to say no when you want to say no and yes when it feels right. This applies to everything- friends, job opportunities, life. Picking where I want to go, and what I want to add a touch of Sky to… I’m sure I’ll have new adventures to pursue, which may include traveling more.

I’ve been spending a lot of time on the beach recently as you can see in these tropical moments captured here.
I was going for Colombian cocaine meets K-pop look. My mom saw these photos and was like “¡Mira ese blanquito de Quito!” Translated- lil pale one from Quito. Which I found odd since my mom is as white as Julianne Moore yet is Ecuadorian.  Growing up I was always referred to as blanquito or flaco (skinny). My dad is Colombian so the majority of my family is blessed with that bronzed melanin. This Summer I’ve been using Coconut oil instead of sunblock since it irritates my eyes as I sweat. Coconut Oil has an SPF of 4, which blocks 75% off UV radiation. 75% protection is about 45 minutes of natural protection with that fresh coco sheen. I put it everywhere, a swoosh in my hair and a dap on my lips. #inlovewiththecoco

To catch you up to speed on the new site, I will be selling a few things here, hence the new shop section on top. The white sleeveless button up shirt I’m wearing here is in production and fingers crossed ill have a few up before the summer ends. I designed it so you can layer other shirts under it, or with nothing at all. So it’s adaptable to every season. But before that comes out ill be putting up something more classic on the beau shop, coming very soon.

Last but not least. I’m going to be featuring others on The Beau. Something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time and started doing with Nam Garsinii. They will range from fashion execs, designers, artists, trainers, models and influencers. A new Beau of interest each month. I’m excited for this and I’ve already compiled a list of guys I’d like to interview and photograph so stay tuned.

Heya! I know this is somewhat off-topic however I had to ask.

Does managing a well-established website like yours require a massive
amount work? I am brand new to writing a blog however I do write in my diary on a daily basis.
I’d like to start a blog so I can easily share my personal
experience and views online. Please let me know if
you have any suggestions or tips for brand new aspiring blog owners.
    Appreciate it!
